Katherine Heigl to Leave 'Grey's Anatomy'

Katherine HeiglKatherine Heigl will finally be saying "peace out" to Seattle Grace for good -- this according to reports.

Sources tell Entertainment Weekly that Heigl will likely not return to the "Grey's Anatomy" set -- and that her last episode as Izzie Stevens has already aired.

EW says series creator Shonda Rhimes has already agreed to let Heigl walk -- and that ABC and Katherine's reps are hashing out an exit deal.

The 'Lost' Diary -- Dr. Linus

LostWelcome back to another edition of The "Lost" Diary.

For all you "Lost" Diary newbies, here's how it goes: I gather with a group of friends watching "Lost," writing what happens on the show as it happens, and throwing in my two cents along the way. Let's roll ...

9:00 -- "I'm fine, thank you." -- Ben. I don't know about you, but I am ready for Ben to start acting like Ben again and not some scared little bitch.

9:01 -- "It's Dr. Linus, actually." -- Ben. I am obviously curious how Ben ended up a HS history teacher -- he seems a tad over-qualified.

9:02 -- ARZT!!!!

9:03 -- "Just sounds like you care about this place. And if the man in charge doesn't, maybe it's time for a change." -- Locke. Was he talking about the high school ... or the island?

Bachelor Jake Pavelka's Ex GF Revealed

"The Bachelor" Jake Pavelka is catching some serious heat even before marrying Vienna Girardi -- and it's all over the ex-girlfriend in this photo.

Jake's ex, 24-year-old Tanya Douglas, claims that Jake was in contact with her after he finished taping "The Bachelor" -- and she claims Jake said he was coming back to her.

In the past Jake has denied any overlap between past relationships and his 'Bachelor' days.

So, what do you think -- did Jake make the right choice?

Erin Andrews on 'Dancing with the Stars'

We generally don't post names of contestants on TV shows, but this one we had to tell you about.

Erin Andrews
, of ESPN fame -- the woman who was spied on by creepy Peeping Tom Michael Barrett -- will be a contestant on the next "Dancing with the Stars."

As we first reported, Chad Ochocinco will also be competing, as will man-on-the-moon Buzz Aldrin, Pam Anderson, Nicole Scherzinger "Bachelor" Jake Pavelka and Evan Lysacek.

As these shows go, kinda interesting.

'Dancing' Scores TD with Chad Ochocinco

Chad OchoCincoNFL star Chad Ochocinco is known for his prolific end zone dances -- but now he'll be dancing ... with the stars.

Multiple sources tell TMZ the outspoken Cincinnati Bengal will be part of the cast of "Dancing with the Stars" this coming season.

Ochocinco joins a list of NFL stars who have done the show including Warren Sapp, Emmitt Smith and Jerry Rice.

A rep for ABC would not comment on potential cast members ... but did a great job of reminding us the official announcement comes tonight during the season finale of "The Bachelor."

The 'Lost' Diary -- The Substitute

LostDaniel from TMZ here, welcome back to another edition of The "Lost" Diary.

You know that bar game where you have to stare at two pictures and touch the screen whenever you spot a difference? I think that's what this season of "Lost" is like. One minute you're yelling "Hey, Desmond isn't supposed to be on the plane" and the next week you're screaming "Claire's sonogram says October but it's supposed to be September!" What will we spot this week?

For all you "Lost" Diary newbies, here's how it goes: I gather with a group of friends watching "Lost," writing what happens on the show as it happens, and throwing in my two cents along the way. I swore to myself I was going to watch "Lost" at a different place each week, but every other place is far and Ari lives five blocks away. So here we are. Let's roll.

9:00 -- I avoided promos and commercials all week, so the fact the "Previously on 'Lost'" section is Not Locke heavy has me very excited.

9:01 -- Don't tell John Locke he can't get out of a van! OK, maybe he can't, but still -- just don't tell him.

The 'Lost' Diary -- What Kate Does

LostDaniel from TMZ here, welcome back to another edition of The "Lost" Diary.

During football season, I often joke that there are only six days in the week -- since Sundays are essentially reserved entirely for football. "Lost" season is kind of the same way -- it's the only day I really care about and if anyone tries to make plans with me on the night "Lost" is on, I just sort of laugh. "Sorry. Can't. 'Lost' is on."

For all you "Lost" Diary newbies, here's how it goes: I gather with a group of friends watching "Lost," writing what happens on the show as it happens, and throwing in my two cents along the way. I caught whatever was going around the office, so I decided to quarantine myself tonight and watch alone. Sucks.

Let's roll ...

9:00 -- We're starting off this week in Other Other Land, with Lennon telling Mr. Miyagi that Sayid is still alive. I just Googled "Mr. Miyagi" to check the spelling -- did you know his first name was Kesuke? I bet you didn't.

Paula Abdul -- 'Dancing' Is Lucrative

Paula AbdulPaula Abdul has a million reasons to appear on "Dancing with the Stars."

ABC has offered Abdul a $1,000,000 development deal, with one catch -- she has to appear on "DWTS," sources tell TMZ.

ABC has been going after Paula for a few years now, trying to get her on "DWTS."

According to the proposed deal, ABC would allow Paula to do "The X Factor" with Simon Cowell. We're told Simon and Paula met a week ago to discuss the show, and it looks like it will happen.

Paula has to make a quick decision -- we're told the ABC offer is contingent on Paula doing "DWTS" this season, which starts in March.

A rep for ABC says they don't comment on prospective cast members.

Conan O'Brien -- Such a Hard Decision

Conan O'Brien is sitting on a decision that could be worth as much as $80 million, sources tell TMZ.

Conan O'Brien, Jay Leno

We broke the story that Jay Leno will be reclaiming his old time slot. There has been speculation that NBC exercised a loophole, which would allow the network to give Conan a portion of his time slot back (12:05-12:35) without having to pay Conan a penalty -- but sources tell us that is not the case.

We're told NBC is in breach of it's agreement with Conan by moving the start time of his show. As a result, Conan now has three options.

Option 1: Quit the show and spend the next four years at the beach. If Conan does this, our sources say NBC would have to pay him the value of his contract. We're told it's a five-year deal, worth as much as $20 million a year. With four years to go, Conan could conceivably get $80 million. But given his skin pigmentation and, possibly, his ego, the beach is unlikely.

Option 2: Go to either FOX or ABC. This is where it gets complicated. If Conan were to strike a deal with either network to do a competing show, any salary Conan pulls in would offset the obligation owed by NBC. So, for example, if Conan made $20 million a year at NBC and ABC were to pay him $15 million a year, NBC would only owe Conan $5 mil a year for the four years remaining in his contract.

Option 3: Eat crow and take the 12:05-1:05 time slot. If Conan takes this option, our sources say it's likely NBC would negotiate a new contract with the same salary Conan was getting before. Even though the salary isn't supported by the time period, it's cheaper than paying him off. NBC, we're told, prefers this option, because Conan would not be splintering Leno's rating by going to another network.

So, Conan, will it be door #1, 2 or 3?

Stay tuned ...

Why ABC Kissed Off Adam Lambert

ABC says there is not even a trace of homophobia in the network's decision to 86 the Adam Lambert kiss from the Barbara Walters special last night.

The network says, "It was an editorial decision to show very little from the performance and focus on the fresh, new interview with Adam Lambert."

Interesting, because the "fresh new interview" was all about "the kiss."

ABC went on to explain its decision to show girl-on-girl by saying, "The Lady Gaga kiss was used quickly in context of things that upset her father."

So why not a quick peck from Lambert then?

The network goes on, "ABC never had a problem showing the kiss, In fact we did not edit it out of the west coast feed of the AMAs."

No, instead they banned Adam from "Good Morning America" the next day.

And finally, ABC says, "The network has a solid record of showing gay men and women in primetime which is why GLAAD has given ABC top honors for the positive portrayal of gays and lesbians for the past several years."

Translation: "Some of my best friends are gay."

Barbara Walters Refuses to Run Gay Kiss

Adam Lambert was featured on Barbara Walters' "The 10 Most Fascinating People of 2009" special on ABC last night -- but the most fascinating part, Babs refused to air footage of Lambert's infamous man-on-man kiss.

Adam Lambert & Barbara Walters: Click to watch
Walters didn't shy away from the issue on the ep, making several references to it -- but ultimately explaining how Adam "turned the music industry inside out doing things we won't show you here."

FYI, Babs decided to air a "straight" lip-lock featuring Jon and Kate Gosselin.

Adam Lambert & ABC Kiss and Make Up

ABC has lifted the ban on Adam Lambert -- and officially booked him to perform on an upcoming episode of "The View" ... in the hopes that he sticks to the script this time.

ABC had previously dropped Lambert from two of the network's shows, in response to catching the network "off-guard" when he improvised his act at the American Music Awards -- and made out with a dude ... something ABC claims he didn't do in rehearsal.

But after taking sharp criticism for their decision, ABC is extending the olive branch -- with an invitation to perform on a December 10 episode of "The View."

Wonder how Elisabeth Hasselbeck will take the news...

GLAAD Backs ABC's Decision to Can Lambert

Adam Lambert's sexual orientation had nothing to do with ABC's decision to can him from two upcoming gigs on their network ... it was all because he can't stick to a script -- at least that's what ABC and GLAAD would like you to believe.

Adam Lambert

The nation's most outspoken gay rights group just released a statement in support of ABC's decision to boot Lambert from "Jimmy Kimmel Live" and an upcoming New Year's Eve special in the wake of his AMA performance -- the one with the man-on-man kiss.

ABC sent a statement to GLAAD, explaining how Adam's removal was "not a question of Lambert's sexual orientation" but was instead because his live performance at the AMAs differed "greatly" from rehearsals and "caught the network off guard" -- which is justification for dropping him from other live shows.

Today, GLAAD backed ABC's explanation saying, "It would appear that the kiss between Adam Lambert and his keyboardist did not factor into ABC's decision ... ABC has a history of positive gay and transgender inclusion that includes featuring kisses between gay and lesbian couples on-air."

For the record, neither Adrien Brody nor Halle Berry were banned from appearing on any ABC shows after their "unscripted" make-out session at the 2003 Academy Awards.

UPDATE: GLAAD tells us they have "asked ABC and calls on them for clarification on 'caught off guard' so that the community knows why Lambert is being denied the opportunity to perform on the network."

Lambert's AMA Gig Leads to GMA Cancellation

Adam LambertThe people who didn't like Adam Lambert's "American Music Awards" performance won't have to worry about a repeat performance on "Good Morning America" -- cause that gig is canceled.

Leading a guy around on a leash and kissing another was apparently too much for ABC. A rep for the show told TV Newser, "Given his controversial live performance on the AMAs we were concerned about airing a similar concert so early in the morning."

Ironically enough, Lambert announced he was gay on "20/20" earlier this year -- which airs on ABC.

Big O-nouncement on Oprah

Oprah WinfreyUPDATE: Oprah knows a thing or two about sweeps -- and is saving her big announcement for the end of the show.

Oprah
is about to personally announce that she's ending her reign as maybe the most successful person ever to host a show on TV. And you can see it all go down on TMZ.

BTW, as we first reported, Oprah insiders are telling us one of the reasons behind the timing is that Oprah is angling to get ABC to slide "The Dr. Oz Show" into her time slot. "Oz" becomes a free agent at exactly the same time Oprah will go off the air.

We're also told other talk shows are angling to get the time period, which is primo real estate in TV land.
